I am a writer and musician. I recently quit my soul-sucking corporate job of almost twenty-two years to pursue my dream of being a full time writer, as I believe writing and playing music are what I was put here to do.
Since walking out of my fabric cell for good I’ve also realized that I need to quit my dysfunctional relationship with marijuana once and for all. I’ve used it for a good chunk of my life, but I no longer have any use for it as it doesn’t fit with my plans for the future. My beef isn’t with Mary Jane per se. I know it can do good things for the right people and that it has medicinal benefits Big Pharma would hate for you to know about. I just have trouble controlling my use of it, so I have to let it go, ironically at a time when it’s becoming much more socially accepted.
It’s my intention to write daily about how I’m doing after quitting weed, beginning March 25, 2019, which was Day One. I want to help as many people as I can to do what I’m doing, because I feel like there are a lot people out there like me who struggle with weed, and my hope is that at least one other person can benefit from reading about my journey.
So that’s my goal and the point of this web page: Use the talents and abilities I have been given to help other people find joy and love in their lives.
I hope you’ll join me on my journey. Maybe we can learn from each other.
Yours in Freedom From Weed.
